Wedding Photographer of the year 2011 - Navi Mumbai Photographer

Just realized a photo from Deane + Amol's wedding was shown as honorable mention in BP Wedding Photographer of the Year 2011 in Couple Portraiture category. It's one of the great achievement and sadly could enjoy after a year. :-p

Thanks to all the incredible support that everyone has been provided me so far. Its a long journey and hope to reach my goals soon :-)

Wodehouse Church Wedding

Nuptials in Wodehouse church, Colaba - Mumbai

Love the Arch' details, the fresco designs on the walls. I always been wanting to shoot a wedding in a Gothic church. It gives that rich feeling to the weddings. Usually I visit the churches atleast a week prior to wedding to check the lighting and rules and regulations of the church and when I entered this church, immediately I framed this image in my mind.

Wedding Food - Navi Mumbai Photographer

There are 2 things that Weddings are irresistible for and a serious must go - the couple getting married and the yummylicious FOOD. Of course, the cute and beautiful ladies at the wedding also is an interesting reasons but I'll blog about it some day later. 

So where do I start about food at wedding. I am not a foodie and mostly while shooting weddings I don't get enough time to taste the  food and relish it. But I have a list of my favorite dishes that I never, ever miss out tasting. 

Here are some of the food photos from few weddings that might make you SLUUUURPP!! 

Never forget to have the lip smacking Aam Ras or a Fruit Salad. :D

And the Kebabs... Gosh! am already drooling!

Kishore + Deepa - Navi Mumbai Photographer

Kishore : You fascinate me more than the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
Deepa : You're sweeter than glucose
Kishore : Since distance equals velocity times time, let's let velocity and time approach infinity, because I want to go all the way with you. Lets get married!

Wait!! Ain't it a scene from Big Bang theory ! I always wondered how a IIT guy and a Computer engineer conversation sound like until I met Kishore and Deepa. They did not sound at all like a typical engineer. Not even an itsy bitsy of engineer. Its unbelievable, especially when you have an engineer brother who bores you with their nerdy jargony talks.
Kishore and Deepa were so Calm and Sober. Well they are the best examples of beauty and brains and are mighty intellectual people. Kishore is also an avid photographer.

It was two days Sindhi wedding and must say a great experience. I feel so glad to cover their wedding and this shows with the number of photos I have posted. I have never posted more than 25 photos of a wedding. But this wedding, I simply couldn't resist. Here are Some of light and warm moments captured.
